How do I place an advert?

Fill in the ‘place an ad’ form and follow the on-screen prompts. If you’re really struggling please don’t hesitate to give us a call and we can take you through it step by step.

How long will my advert be listed?

Standard listings are for 30 days

How much does placing an ad with Event Trader cost?

That depends entirely on the value of your item please click this link to view the price structure.

How long will it take for the advert to be listed?

All listings are individually checked and approved, we aim to have your advert up within 24hrs of submission.

How do I know the seller is genuine?

Trust in your common sense, make sure you view the advertised items in person before committing to buy, make sure the seller has the legal right to sell the products or act on the owner’s behalf. If the deal doesn’t feel right ….walk away.

I think I’ve been involved in a scam, what do I do?

Don’t panic, the first thing to do is inform your bank. They should be able to step up security and stop any unusual or unauthorised transaction activity. Second, speak to Action Fraud, the service is the UK’s national reporting centre for fraud and internet crime. You can call them on 0300 123 2040. Lastly, please get in contact with us here at Event Trader. Its important we are informed so that we can remove the suspected advert and inform our users of the possible fraudulent activity.
